I've been getting frustrated with the lack of sharpness from my SMC-M 100 F/4 macro, and upon closer inspection, it looks like I have the dreaded lens separation. So next, I'm going all in on lens repair. Here's an image with it.

Smoky day at the harbor - Super Tak 28/3.5 on K10D. This lens is slightly decentered, and one of these years I'll get it fixed. (Coz I don't have enough 28s already

Pentax DFA 100mm WR

Not really close enough to call these shots macro, but focused at less than a metre. OOC Jpegs, no sharpening or colour adjustments. I am really happy with this lens, bought two weeks ago.

Now I have four macro lenses in this range- this Pentax, Sigma EX DG 105mm, Adaptall 2 52B and 52BB (with the Tamron matched closeup tube and also the 01F teleconverter). All are really convincing to be keepers....that's LBA, I guess. This new Pentax should be sufficient reason to sell all the others, if I am being practiical.
