If you like a little honey in your chocolate, it's absolutely delicious...

I don't know what I want more, the FA 31 or the chocolate... (Chocolate Acquisition Syndrome?)

Also, I still can't get over how sharp that 77mm is. It might be the micro-contrast. But I don't think my DA 70 can be this sharp.

Also, that XR 60mm Macro lens has some very exquisite rendering. Fuji's rendering in general is different from Pentax but I do like it very much, and this lens seems to be a monster. I imagine portraits at wide open aperture must be stunning (you can always smooth out faces if needed...)

agreed - the FA 31 makes up for its lack of close-focusing by its sheer sharpness; crop as much as you like.... and the FA 77 is just as sharp

I really haven't spent enough time with the FA 77 to compare it to my DA 70, but I will be....

and the Fuji XF 60 Macro - I'm still getting used to the autofocus on the Fuji bodies (this is my first AF lens) but when it nails the shot, it is superb...

It's very good! I've never seen the black box version, though - what is that? Great looking shots, btw.

the black label is dark chocolate, rather than milk chocolate...

Hmm, must try it... Now a days I am into adding a tbs of Cacao powder to my unsweetened black coffee in the morning. The Cacao powder I get from my father who cultivates cacao plants in Puerto Rico - as a hobby,

Cacao Pods:

The bean:

Cacao trees lie behind this quaint country cabin, Yauco, Puerto Rico:

PS - the little pupper - Layca... a 9 lbs barking machine!

PPS - all shots were taken with a different prime... The pods M 28/2.8 | the Beans A 100/4 Macro | the Cabin... Very likely the A 50/2 (on my K-1000)

umm...that sounds positively decadent!

A couple shots from a hike in the local hills last month. We actually received a bit of rain the previous week, hence the presence of "greenery". S-M-C Tak 28/3.5 on *ist D:

Playing around with the X-T1......

TTartisans 50mm f1.2

Canon FD 55mm f1.2 SSC

and Canon FD 35mm f2.8 T.S. SSC

And as I had my gourds out (Fnaa! Fnaaa!), I thought the K3 and HD DA 40mm f2.8 better have a go at them too....

Despite the 40mm being my favourite of the Ltds, it has been rather neglected of late
