As threatened, 135mm lens comparison. Fuji X-T1 with Pentax K 135 f2.5, Minolta Rokkor MD 135 f3.5, Tokina RMC 135mm f2.8, Fujinon m42 135mm f3.5 EBC

They all performed as I expected. All these shots were taken at f5.6 and 1/250th sec. with 2 sec self timer. All exhibited CA's even stopped down, and wide open lacked contrast and sharpness, but soon improved. On the X-T1, the Rokkor would be my favourite for its light weight and overall handling, though I prefer the Fujinon and Pentax K colours slightly. For what it goes for the Tokina is certainly no slouch and the bargain of the bunch. There appears to be a slight variation in focal lengths between the lenses.

Chanced to get a rainbow lorikeet flying to the moon this afternoon. I was playing with exposure to get detail in the moon, so the bird is a bit dark.

S-M-C Takumar 150mm on Sony A6000.

Nice shot - good "pocket" there created by the trees.

Exactly right Ed. I was driving home at sunset and saw the moon above the trees. Walked around for about ten minutes to get the angle right for the moon to nestle inside the gap. The rainbow lorikeet just happened to be heading out for dinner at the same time as I was heading home for dinner.

Exactly right Ed. I was driving home at sunset and saw the moon above the trees. Walked around for about ten minutes to get the angle right for the moon to nestle inside the gap. The rainbow lorikeet just happened to be heading out for dinner at the same time as I was heading home for dinner.

I should also say that the S-M-C 150mm and the older Tele-Takumar preset 200mm f5.6 are both amazing lenses.
