Thank you for your message. Here is my Jocelyn, lost to breast cancer at far too young an age. (K-1, Pentax-FA* 85mm f 1.4, Jocelyn's favorite for portraits.)
I empathize with you, Ivan. It took me two years to get my head out of the water after I lost my wife of 30 years. Be strong !

Receive my very Best Regards

Thanks. My wife passed away in December, and I have been too depressed to play with my lenses and cameras, but flowers are blossoming again, and I have started a process of trying out all my 135mm lenses, taking a few photos here and there. 135mm is not exactly the best focal length for flowers, of course.
Just noticed this today, Ivan. Sorry for your loss. I did notice your absence and wondered if things were okay. Photography can be a therapy, so bring out the camera and lenses and shoot away. We all enjoy viewing your presence and photos. Take care!

Great iris shots. I only have the white ones so far this season, but dozens of others by the end of the month. I have that same lens except my version is called Kino Precision, Kiron. I have maybe a dozen macro lenses, but they are all basically unnecessary with the Kiron on hand. I also have the Tokina AT-X9mm f 2.5 macro that is almost as good but only 1:2 macro.

Thanks, the Iris' are from the local botanical garden. The Kiron/Lester Dine is a great lens. I love the handling and results produced from this lens. I have several macro lens and agree with your comment, I don't use this particular lens nearly enough.
