I'm with you after acquiring the K 28 f2, LBA seems to be at bay but not cured. the last lens I acquired was the DA 21 HD in 2013 black friday sale. Buying Japanese automatic watches on the other hand is another matter.

In this case you're the right guy to ask... Are you performing some kind of - ehm - regular maintenance of the lenses?

Sadly most of my lenses collect dust. The Sigma 150-500 is attached to the camera most of the time. The number I actually use, especially the manual zooms, will go up now that I have the Pentax Adapter Q.

As for myself I've promised my wife that the studio gear, Pentax 15 Limited and Pentax 28-105 I've purchased in the past 40 days or so are it until she gets a bit of what she's been wanting to do around the house. Yeah LBA is a disease! It's so easy to lose track of how much I've invested in my "hobby" and I don't fault her at all for telling me it's time to do a little sprucing up around the house.

TBH I won't be shocked to discover it's gonna cost me less to paint the kitchen walls and cabinets and put in new granite countertops than my hobby does. Heck, she might be saving me money!
