Hi,
I determined I need a zoom lens this past weekend.
Choices are (at least I found in my price range)
Tameron 28-300 f 3.5-6.3
Sigma 70-300 f 4-5.6
Pentax 55-300 f 4- 5.8

HURRY! I'm hoping to get today since there is a delay in the mail.

Pentax 55-300mm is the best lens out of ones you can afford.
Do a quick search here on the forum and you will see there is a majority of people here that has recommend it.
I am very happy with my copy

Agreed on all points. The 55-300 (all versions) is quite good. Mine has served me well on safaris in 5 countries so far - as well as on hiking trips at home
