If it's the Pentax A or K version, I'd say the price is pretty good, a steal actually

i think it is a K version not A.

@pentagor

i already have fa 50mm 1.4 and K 50mm 1.4. i just think that the extra stop maybe useful if me shooting portrait at low light..

Hi, fearview!

I was contemplating buying a K50/1.2 for some 200 Euro and I thought it is not worth it (at least for what I do). From what I saw on the net it is a very specialised lens with low contrast/resolution and with a razor thin dof @ 1.2 (and I really mean that!).
I prefer to wait for DA* 55 or for Sigma 50 both f1.4 - hopefully modern designs and better performers technically and save those 200 Euro for one of those.
But it is a matter or need and taste! I gave you the cons many others will give you the pros you will decide afterwards.

Radu

P.S. I believe between 1.4 and 1.2 is only 1/2 stop not 1 stop. One full stop would mean f1.

$200 for a 50/1.2? That's a steal as Frank said.

Hi again, fearview!

100 is good 200 is too much IMO. It all boils down to your photo style and the kind of work you are in.
Glad I helped.

Extremly subjective question. If it is affordable for the buyer and the buyer wants it, then, it is worth it. If you don't need it and/or don't have the money it is not. The market sets the prices so if thats what it costs, it's obviously worth it.
