K30 + FA 100mm 2.8 Macro = backfocus problem

Hi PF Friends,

I definitely did not have this problem last year with this lens.

I'm pretty sure I know how to fix this using my K30's "fine tune AF adjustment" off the menu. I read it before and I'll look in the user manual but offhand anyone know how my camera is going to remember this when swap lenses?

Also, I was just wondering how this happened and why it's only this lens?

Now that I think about it I should add that the focus peaking function seems a bit off at times with my manual lenses.

That's my lil guy (blurry as all get out). The last one of some flowers I shot manual and sharp like this lens normally is.

Can you describe the focus peaking problem more? That should be reasonably reliable - but I have had trouble making it consistent myself. As for remembering the lens - the electronic one's (F, FA, DA, DAL, DA* etc.) all identify themselves to the camera uniquely.

Aha! I found out today that my AF adjustment was set to -5 for all lenses and was wondering why.
I can't say I recall ever messing with it.
I set it to 0 and will have to check images again soon.
Makes me wonder how this is going to affect images now.

Gonna shoot with all my lenses tomorrow!
