I am a minimalist - not necessarily by choice, mostly because there's only so much room in my pack/gear/webbing, and the older I get the heavier everything seems to get.

So for me it's the K10d, Sigma 17-70, and arriving any day now the Pentax 55-300. The 540 flash, a couple of 4Gb cards, one spare battery, a very small lens cleaning kit, and that's it.

No bag I am satisfied with. I think I will be going to a local woman who sews up custom "tactical gear" for military types and have her custom build me a bag just big enough to hold these items with some protection sewn in at the same time. Given some of the other field gear she has sewn up to my specifications, she can probably do it in her sleep.

Also on the list is a very lightweight tripod to replace my current one. I'll take a markdown on stability in exchange for weight and portability on that one. Just haven't decided what the best candidate is out there.

Ah! A kindred spirit! Its a awesome bag, don't you think? I'm actually limiting my LBA to what I can fit in it.

I showed my lovely understanding wife what all of you have in your bag(s), and the fact that I only have the K100D, 18-55 kit lens, Tamron 70-300, and 3 sets of eneloop rechargeable batteries + charger, in a Lowepro 200 Slingshot.

Her comment was...."So?" Good thing we have been together 40+ years.

Due to my college student budget, my equipment is a minimalist setup *sigh*

In my recently purchased Lowepro Fastpack 250, I take my:

K100D Super
Kit Lens
Vivitar 28 f/2.8
Pentax M 50 f/1.7
"accessories"

Hopefully after summer, I can replace my kit lens with the 16-45 OR get a Tamron 70-300 Di...

LOL.

My bad. Better make that th A50 f1.2.

Although, being the originator of the term LBA does have it's advantages.
