Both cameras have now arrives, YIPPEE!!! Here are a few early tries.
The first is with the Tamron SP AF 90mm F/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 and was taken outdoors using a macro rail on a tripod. I was after some stacking shots, but I'm going to have to practice a bit more. 1/320 @ f/2.8 ISO 100
The other two were taken with the SMC Pentax DA 35mm F/2.4 AL, hand held. Because of the huge light and shade difference I went 3 shot HDR. The first shot is the middle of the 3 taken at 1/60 @ f/8 ISO 100 EV 0. The second is after the 3 shots went through Photomatix Pro 5. The shots had EV of 0,+/- 2.
I'm happy with the results so far but I think it's going to be hard work learning how to use these lenses properly, especially the Tamron. It'll be fun getting to know them, and with a trip to London in a couple of weeks I'll be taking them with me.
