Now, the DA*60-250, there's a great lens.

Maybe the K-5iis + 21 is still a bit big for street work... need to have a think
There is no way to lose here. If you don't mind switching lenses or you go out with a prime mentality go with the lovely DA primes. If you are worried about weather or like some flexibility in framing go with the zoom. In terms of outright IQ, I have never thought in the 1.5 years with the zoom that I wished I didn't sell my 21 or 40. If this is a street kit, then go with the primes can't be more inconspicuous than the 21 or 40.

I think I'm about to sell off my 35 f2, 21, and 40 for a 20-40.

Those are three of my most used lenses and some of the last I would sell, but perhaps if I owned a DA 20-40, it would be a favorite as well.

You miss the 77... And that isn't small issue.

From your first post - you have a DA21 sized gap in your lens portfolio.
BUT... when the full frame comes your FA31 might cover that.
Then you need a proper telephoto - DA*200 or DA*300 (or one of their older equivalents) +/- 1.4xRC looks good.
