First one is the 50mm tak taken with my 43mm and the rest are quick samples taken today at f1.4 only-mostly PP'd for sharpness and resizing. It looks it has some CA, especially when wide open, but it may be due to a filter attached to it. I need to find out more to see its real value of course. Just wanted to share some pics real quick.
Great buy! Your lens seems to be sharp from those few samples. The CA might be caused by filter - I had loss of contrast and flaring increased , so from then on I kept using only deep lens hood. Congratulation on your purchase , and the price was great ! ( UK- wise) .
About bokeh and other qualities - it is not only that! Once you learn how to focus quickly and accurately, your ST will give you much better keepers rate with manual focusing, than your AF limited. Guaranteed for fast moving objects, kids , sports, low light etc.. Trust me , I know from experience
