DA18-250 surprised me this weekend...

A few months back I picked up a DA 18-250. Took the attached picture this past weekend while at the lake. What surprised me was that if you look closely above the beach line you can see a number of small black specs. Much to my surprise, the lens actually captured the numerous flies that were hovering near the water! Not that it makes the picture any better, but impressive none the less...

Eeew! Sometimes Pentax lenses can be TOO good.

I agree. I was looking for dust on my sensor, when I saw this picture:

Can you see a little spot just above the trees on the sky? Well this is not dust, but a bird.
