1000$ already isn't expensive enough? The early bird special of 600$ is already too expensive for my tastes for what is a very niche lens.

Honestly I don't know if I would ever support a kickstarter for this company, seeing as all of their current lenses seem to be rebadged Mitakon lenses with a huge markup.

Wow. So will this lens have an automatic aperture (electronic contacts) or is purely manual stop-down?

So, I dug out my old Tokina SD 28-70mm 1:35-4.5 lens, which I got a few years ago off fleaBay for a pittance, and which I've never used much. I've long regarded it as my worst lens: slow, soft, poor contrast. . . An example of all that used to be wrong with zoom lenses back in the old days. Anyhow, I put it on the old K100D and started fooling around with it, and got this. . .



Woah. . . Are those soap bubbles?
