50mm focus ring

I have an old M series 50mm f2 lens that is missing the focusing ring. Just the grip part.
Does anyone know where I could find a replacement or a suitable "replacement"?

You could buy a broken M 50mm f2, one that has damage, but a good focusing ring, and then combine the two. It would cost you very little, and the work should not be too difficult if you have some basic tools.
Or you could just buy an A 50mm f1.7 and leave the M 50mm f2 on a shelf, that's what I would advise

Get more automation, more light, more sharpness at f2

Maybe if you post a photo of the damage someone might have good ideas

Just the rubber part? I was going to say most lens repair people worth their salt will have a drawer full of spare grips.

I had this problem and used a DIY product called; self amalgamating tape. This is a rubber type tape that has covering both sides. When the cover is taken off the tape within a few minutes will combine into a solid rubber grip. May not be pretty but it works.
