The SMC Pentax-M 100mm f:2.8.

I bought this SMC Pentax-M 100mm f:2.8 lens this past spring ( CL for $30.00) and strangely, I had never given it a whirl. So, this afternoon, I hooked it up to my "new-to-me" K-r, wandered down the street and took this shot just for S&G's. I was blown away at it's sharpness! The bokeh is pretty good, too!

I need to spend more time USING lenses and less time BUYING them!

ISO 400, 1/640th @ f:8.

One of the ripe ones came out of my screen. Lovely compostion with beautiful lighting. There's a 3 dimensional sculpting to this. I like it!

I sold mine when I got the K105/2.8 - and I'm still not sure I did the right thing.

I still keep one of those to use it with my Pentax DSLR on manual or aperture priority.

I recently picked up a fresh copy after reluctantly letting the *50-135 go. This little wonder is no effort to bring along.

It's funny...I did the same thing when I bought my M100 2.8. Received it and basically forgot about it for 6 months. Once I started using it I loved it. Very capable performer in a nice small package.

Probably the most under-rated lens in the M and A line-up!

Yeah +1 for the 100mm.

I suppose it's just easily overshadowed by the legacy around the Super Taks.. But heck those images look fantastic.
