On second thought, I also have two film bodies to cater for - perhaps the 50mm f/2.0 A or the SMC 58mm or 28mm Takumar should be the last to go... until such time as a 50mm f/1.2 A falls into my hands.

Considering my style of photography, I can live with solely the Voigt Nokton 58/1.4 SLII. It's good for both DSLR and Film SLRs. Not to mention the upcoming FF DSLR

Which one would it be?
FA43 Ltd f1.9.

And a very close second, DA35 Ltd f2.8 Macro.

A 50 F1.2!

Something wider would probably be more versatile, but this is the lens that I just can't let go!

DA21 f3.2

But I am convinced that I have given this answer many times in similar threads in the past. The only thing wrong with my copy is that it is not silver, as there was a price premium on the silver version when I bought it. I think the 21 was the second prime I bought, after the 40XS, which I only bought because it was so cheap.

Oh, that's a hard call for me!
DA15? DA21? DA35? DFA100WR?
No, I can't decide.

Mtux, I can't decide which ones to carry out of 3 that you mention, so soon I will buy the 35 ltd and carry all 4, nearly always.

That's easy, it has to be a normal lens for me. The most featured normal lens I have is the DA 35 2.4. So that's the one. Though if I had to live with just my Rikenon 28mm f2.8, I could probably do that as well. It's easily as sharp as the Pentax, it just lacks AF and program automation.

If I had unlimited resources, I think it would be the FA 31mm Limited. But the plastic fantastic does nicely. Its optics are as good if not better than my SMC-M 50mm f1.7, which is very well regarded (and I have a good copy of it, sharp from wide open). I just got the F 50 1.7, and it's also a very sharp copy, so I'll see how it compares to the DA 35 2.4 (I can tell already it's slightly contrastier than my SMC-M copy).

For years the only lens I had was the K50/1.4. Then it was the M50/1.4. It was 25 years before I could even choose something other than a 50.

Any 50 I own. You pick the actual version.

My collection consists only of K and M series lenses, but of the ones I own, I'd flip a coin between the M85/2 and M28/2. Twist my arm, and I'd give the nod to the M85 just barely.

I could live with a fast/sharp 50 on a FF body. I also think lenses should focus past infinity and leave it up to the user to find it.

If I had to choose from what I already own, it would have to be my Bower (Samyang) 35mm f/1.4. This isn't even a close contest.
