Originally posted by Dewman I've got a boat-load of lenses I no longer need or use. All are good, some are great, some are fantastic. Some are manual, some are "A" lenses and some are auto focus. None are high dollar lenses.... unless you consider a Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm 22XXXX a "high dollar" lens. They vary from 28mm, 50mm, 200mm Pentax primes to Pentax, Vivitar, Osawa, Sigma, Tamron, Promaster, Makinon & Sears zooms. Some of the Pentax zooms are pretty sweet - M-75-150mm, A-70-210, etc. Vivitars a bunch (Most are 77xxxx) , 80-200mm, 70-210mm, 28-200mm, 28-85mm, etc. Sigma-AF 28-80mm 1:2 macro, A-70-300mm, Tamron 28-105mm, 28-200, 28-80, etc.
sounds like the stash is mostly legacy zooms? unless it's something unique, old zooms usually go for chump change on cl and shopgoodwill, so that's the place to start thinning the herd.
the market for old zooms is so weak that i usually just donate 'em to goodwill... if keh won't buy it, it's probably not worth anything, so donate.
the market for old primes is an entirely different matter, especially if you have aspirations for moving to ff.
