Haven't been out for a bit, but here is a ship that's been out by the oil rigs off Newfoundland recently. Only difficulty was getting the lens centered as best as possible to take a pic through a chain link fence. Hopefully my partial correction tool work fixing the link problem isn't too visible.

This perhaps a strange image to post. Having used primes almost exclusively for years, I've been a little frustrated by the softness and fringing of this lens which I've frequently found in zooms. Kolkata's exceptionally difficult, hazy light presented a real challenge, but in processing this random street scene I was pleased to see the detail throughout (sorry it's not linked to a full size image).

Three, from a few weeks ago. Part of a series taken of the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico, seen from the beach in Naples, FL. Note the first shows some lens flare. I think it's the first flare I've seen with this lens.
