not sure why, but our 11 week old 2.5 # new Japanese Chin puppy - Sable Fuzz Ball - appear to be green with envy

or perhaps it has a little of the Irish in it.

[Of course, it is the auto focus beam reflecting off the back of the eyes]

Pretty good example of what the 16~85mm can do @ 16mm. My apologies that this is a cross-posted image. I avoid posting the same image on different threads, although I'm not above reposting an image from year or more back.

A series of cropped photos from early November of 2016 from a walk at the Topeka Zoological Park, a bird, dried fruit and grasses:

From a recent photocharter. I used the 16-85 and the DA* 60-250 - sufficed all day.

The 16-85 DA is the best general-purpose lens I ever had, by far. I had it on the K3 for over a year.

Now, with the K1, I like the 24-70 but miss the substantially lighter K3 setup.

The best general purpose lens for APS-C

I love the colour rendition of this lens, even under difficult lighting conditions:

Took a walk last along the river downtown since the sun finally came for a bit. I think this going to be my new goto lens. I really like how this lens feels and the range.

This is not a political statement, just photojournalism. The 16-85 makes the perfect walk around lens on a crop sensor.

Some beautiful shots in this thread. Split between getting this and the sigma 17-50 2.8
