One of the things this lens is great for is shooting community events. Here are a few from an Earth Day stream clean-up.
[Pro Tip: if you're in your 70s and bring a camera you can often get away with just taking photos. ]

if that is because of the multiple colors - here is another contender

this is the first time I have encountered an Harlequin Duck Histrionicus histrionicus Drake in full breeding coloration

this and its mate reside at the Kansas City Zoo

[ I really enjoyed my visit there today, until I couldn't find my cell phone and prescription glasses - best wishes for their recovery is greatly appreciated ]

Male harlequins and wood ducks are, as I've posted before, ducks invented by a kid with a new box of crayons. And I would vote the second image of that set as bit better than the other two. Head is a little more shaded, so the colors are less washed out by the sun, and it looks as though the camera nailed the focus better.

K 3 + HD PENTAX-DA 16-85mm F3.5-5.6 ED DC WR

Focal Length 53.0mm (35mm equivalent: 79mm)
Exposure Time 1/160s (0.0063)
Aperture F/5.0

but not in a true gallop like a horse:

but cheetahs can gallop:

thanks for the comments

I agree with the choice you made, the duck did make a subtle move which created a better image

all were taken through the glass window of the enclosure and I was fighting the usual reflection problems

Here is a photo of the drake and his lady

This image is even better. A perfect family portrait. Dare I say it? OK, I will - - It's really ducky.
