I love this lens....my poor 18-55 has been relegated to the camera bag with a ND filter permanently attached to it. Went for an outing to the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa while my brother was in town and the 16-85 was the lens to have. Actually I lent the 18-55 to my brother who only had a longer zoom not really useful at the museum. Here are some shots from the day. Oh, and if you are ever in Ottawa, do yourself a favour and go to this museum; it is so well done.

I've rented this lens twice, most recently for it's WR capabilities on a trip to Iceland. I'm more of a light/small prime shooter, but I did get some good results from the 16-85mm and the WR was much needed. Recently read that June was Reykjavik's least sunny June in 100 years, and the day these four were taken was an almost total washout on Vestmannaeyjar, and then Seljalandsfoss.
