The DA 16-85mm was my main lens on a recent trip to the north of Spain, the first time it has replaced the 18-55mm WR kit lens on poor weather duties (though the poor weather was limited to the last few days, in Bilbao). I'm getting to know and really like this lens despite it being a slow zoom. The widest prime I had with me was 28mm so the 16-85 was also my default for anything wide.

Mizzou? Oh, say it ain't so. But that's a great camera setup you left her with it's still my main camera and lens combo while I wait for a K-3II successor and also debate buying a K-1/K-1II.

Could be worse. I was pleased and a bit surprised that, her first free week-end, she went kayaking.

Ha! Mizzou has a great journalism program, among other things... But as a Razorback, it's hard to really like our new faux SEC rival. They are our yearly cross division rivals. And despite us taking big leads into the 2nd half, we've come up losers the last couple of years.

That part of the country -the Ozarks- is really pretty with good recreational opportunities. I don't know a lot about the area around Mizzou but further south its spectacular.
