This is true - trying/ failing/ adjusting, followed by trying/ failing/ adjusting...then (in my case) being rewarded with a lucky bit of timing! Mostly, I just like being out there, trying to bring back something I've seen that looked cool to me.

This is my favorite of the Lego's - the light makes the colors pop, and at this distance the Lego's are "there but not there" if you know what I mean - the other shots showed great detail but this one just is more pleasing to my eye. Thanks for posting - it is a very cool exhibition.

HD DA 16-85 mm ED @ 16 mm FL and f/11. VERY SHARP !

@ 16 mm FL

I paired this HD DA 16-85 mm ED wide angle zoom with an HD DA 55-300 mm ED telephoto zoom to form a light "travel kit" :

@ 230 mm FL

From the arctic to the sunbelt and everything in between, the 16-85 is well suited for almost anything!
