For those who have the DA 50mm 1.8, and lightroom, is it recognised on lightroom?

Until recently, I had lightroom 3, and whenever I used the DA 50mm it just showed up as an unknown lens. So I assumed it was because I had an old version of lightroom - perhaps released before the DA 50mm.

However, I have just upgraded to lightroom 6, but it is still showing up as an unknown lens. Does anyone else have this problem?

(Other information if captured - such as the aperture used etc.)

Yes it does (I have Lightroom 5.x). Sees all information related to the lens and picture

In LR 5 and 6 it still might not show up automatically, but it is definitely in the list of supported lenses, so in case it doesn't show up automatically, you can pick it manually and save it.

Thanks. I can now select the lens in lens correction, but it still isn't showing in metadata (even after I have selected the lens in lens correction).

But maybe it will recognise it now if I add new photos. I'll try that, maybe tomorrow.

It seems that lightroom 6 now recognises the 50mm for photos that I add, now, but still won't recognise previous photos taken with it. (E.g. if doing a search for all photos taken with that lens.) Still, it is good that it is recognising the lens in any new photos.

I've had similar issues with LR5 not recognizing the 18-135 on a K-30. BUT... that's only if it's a JPG. If it's DNG, then it does recognize the lens.
