I thought I was bad, but considering what I've seen posted here, I have no reason to be concerned, so here I am, ready to confess: 24/3.5, 28/3.5, 35/3.5, 50/1.4, 50/4, 55/1.8, 105/2.8, 135/3.5, 200/4. The most expensive was the 24/3.5 by a margin. I like them all, but forced to pick a favorite, it would have to be the 50/1.4, and the one I'm least fond of is the 28/3.5.

Just one so far. The Auto-Tak 35mm f3.5 and I bought a $2 non infinity adapter haha. But for some reason the results beat any M series lens I have currently in style and sometimes in sharpness. The taks just look and feel cool

I have a relatively small stable:

S-M-C 35/3.5

SMC 50/1.4

S-M-C Macro 50/4

SMC 55/1.8

Auto-Tak 55/2

S-M-C 85/1.8

Oh, and two genuine Pentax K adapters.

All get regular use. I like them all, but really enjoy using the ca. 1958 Auto 55/2.

I acquired the 35/3.5, 55/1.8 and 85/1.8 with a Spotmatic (all in pristine condition) at a thrift shop. The basket of goodies must have been put out on display just minutes before I walked in. Hehe.

17mm f/4, old 28mm 3.5, new 28mm 3.5 (great reversed for macro), 35mm f/2.2, old 35mm f/2, 55mm f/1.8 auto takumar, 50mm f/1.4 8 element, 50mm f/1.4 7 element, 105mm f/2.8 pre-set, 135mm f/3.5, 200mm f/4. The 105mm pre-set works nicely on my K-50 (it is fun to see the depth of field change in live view - if you turn off focus peaking).

The tide comes in and the tide goes out...

17 at the peak but I have sold about half. (50 1.4 8 element and 150 4 not in the above photo)

Now
S-M-C 28 3.5
ST 35 2
ST 35 3.5
SMC 50 1.4
Macro Tak 50 4 Pre set
ST 55 1.8
S-M-C Tak 100 4 Macro
Tele Tak 300 6.3

tended to have gone wider with newer glass on the K3

I like the Taks because they are comparatively small, well-built, and easy to use in A-mode and catch-in-focus.

Forty Takumars.

From my own spread sheet (a sure sign of a compulsive disorder ? ):

---- m42 presets

Takumar 58mm f/2.0 black [ Sonnar design, came with black 'AP' ]

SMC Takumar 50mm f/1.4 [ mtd on black ESII motor drive ]

I'm a bit of a Collector it seems
Wow a black Ap?!?
