It's not so much whether and what they outsource but how they do it. Up till now, it looks like Pentax USA simply went to somebody and said "here, you do it". Well, maybe they just got what they asked for.

Yes! The important observation being they seem to be, step by step, taking more control over their business presence. They seem to be doing better - if they continue to apply work to NA market things will gradually improve.

+1 on that. And it does not seem they did much research on who that 'somebody' should have been.

And +1 to that as well. Moving glacially perhaps but hopefully in a positive direction. Getting their complete web presence back under control should be a priority.

I imagine a lot goes on under the ice that we don't see until critical mass is achieved.
What follows can be epochal.
