Bigma 50-500mm at 500mm, unprocessed shots. Anywhere?

I'm getting closer to perhaps, just maybe, springing for this lens, but has anyone ever come across any Bigma 500mm wide open shots that haven't been processed?

Preferably from someone that knows how to avoid camera shake?

I've been getting conflicting reviews, etc. from users. Soft at 500mm. Sharp at 500mm wide open. Sharp at 500mm f/8. Always soft after 400mm. Etc. It's hard to tell how much post processing people do -- Some people go crazy with unsharp mask, some people have no clue how to avoid camera shake, so opinions seem to vary quite a bit.

------------

Does anyone know of a comprehensive review of this lens with sample unprocessed shots? If you can share the information I would be very grateful!

I think I know what you mean, but there is no such thing as an unprocessed image. It is only a matter of degree as jpgs are processed in in-camera, and RAW is processed (usually) later.

Well, yes, unprocessed as unprocessed one can get.

Many times, people up sharpness, contrast, etc, before exporting a RAW to JPEG.

I'm mainly looking for unsharpened JPEGS from RAW, as contrast is easy enough to edit, but starting with an already sharp images means less sharpening (and more effective) once it's applied in software.

Well, I just bought mine and plan to take some shots this weekend. I'll post some 100% crops of some sometime this weekend. I postproc with PS CS2 and will leave all defaults set and export strt to JPG. Can't say how steady I am... With this big sucker I doubt that most people are steady. and I don't have a monopod yet...
