Excellent work there all the modders. I recently acquired a well-kept 60-250 f4, and plan to make it fully FF compatible. The most appealing strategy for me is the baffle 3D printing. I've written to Scorpio for the STL file, but he seems to be away. If you received the file from him already, I would appreciate if you shared it with me as well. Thanks in advance.
Same here.

Same here. Just found out a friend of mine bought a 3-d printer. Says he would try to run one up for me if I have the STL file.

I am looking into somehow uploading the files so anyone who would like to try it can just download it. I have been sick for the last few weeks so I am bit behind on everything right now. I can save it in several formats so you should be able to open it in any CAD software. I use Solidworks and that is what it was designed in. Right after I installed the baffle into my 60-250 I starting getting sick so I have to pick back up from there.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you're getting better.

I'm thinking dropbox or Google Drive (or Microsoft's Onedrive?) would probably be simplest.

Making STL files available

Hi

Figshare is also a very good medium - you can make a file, or set of files publicly available (no storage limit at all for public access files) and get a URL that anyone can follow to download them.

Here are two, one with the stock baffle still in and the second with the baffle removed. Taken almost 1 year apart, but at the same focal length. I don't have a white wall test like this but for me the unmodified image is not usable without cropping, the modified one is just fine.

Removed the baffle and replaced with a cardboard tube as described starting around post #83 of this thread.

The 60-250 lens modification for FF use is something you can do yourself (or have someone do for a fee) - then lens in this modified configuration is not a comercially available product offering from Pentax.

I apologize for the long delay here. My health has not been improving very much so everything has been a struggle. My doctors have me on a new treatment plan and hopefully this will help. The last few days have shown some improvement. I have uploaded all my design files to my Google Drive. You can find the link here ---> Update your browser to use Google Drive - Google Drive Help
If you have any questions about the files please feel free to ask. The files were designed in Solidworks 2014 since that is what I have at work. I also saved the files in the STL format since most 3D printed software uses the STL format. If you do not have Solidworks I also saved the files in the universal STEP format that should be able to open in any CAD software. If there is a file extension you need or want that I do not have please let me know. Solidworks can save in many different file formats. For the version with the baffle cutout I am working an instruction. Unfortunately I put the lens back together before I did this so I will have to take it back apart to make it. So far the baffle has been working great and I have no issues with the minor use I have given it. Sorry for the long delay here again.

Here are some test shots from back at the end of May before I got real sick. There were taken on a windy off one the bridges over the river downtown. I did not set up my tripod so they all all hand held. These shots are all at 60mm, f4, f5.6, f8, and f11. There shot in RAW and processed in Lightroom using the built-in Lens Profile for the 60-250. Minor adjustments were made for exposure.
