Probably but isn't it boring? It should look more premium.

Pentax model naming/branding has been wildly inconsistent for a while now.

I just got an e-mail answer from Ricoh Nederland.
They say they stopped red line labeled with their lenses.
No reason explained.

Anyway, thank you for your answers.

The only thing I don't like about my 16-85 is the red ring. It doesn't belong there. The metallic green looks awesome, I'm glad they went back to using it.
