With all the hubbub about full frame, maybe some of us on the forum are having a hard time keeping track of how lenses of different focal lengths behave on full frame vs APS-C. In other words, how do we compare lenses ahead of purchasing to determine what field of view we are looking to capture?
Looking up fov statistics one by one is one way to do it. But what if you're wanting to compare several lenses at one time? Or maybe you want to see what fov you'll get on your new K3ii with different lenses?
If you haven't read the article below, it may help you decide, for instance, what lens you want to get now either in anticipation of choosing to buy a full frame or living happily without it. The article is good but the table is even better. Here's the link to the article, but be sure to click on the larger (and clearer) version of the table in it to save for future reference. A photo of the table is attached below. The table is slightly outdated for what lenses are "available", but there's enough info here to deduce whatever is absent.
