Sigma Conversion

So... I'm on a quest for a Sigma 50-500. Seams like I can get a non Pentax MUCH cheaper than a pentax.

HAs anyone had Sigma do a conversion on a lens? Cost ?

The Bigmas are not qualifying lenses.

Change Your Mount | Sigma Corporation of America

No 120-300/2.8 for Pentax either, the lens has to be available in a mount to begin with...

Which leads me to beleive they don't change the mount, they just send you a new lens...
