There's some helpful info here -thanks a lot.

At *not current link* there's examples of some of the shots I use the 50 & 100 mm range for. The weight round my neck, the balance, and the discreetness are some reasons I like the primes.

Mushy corners of the 55 on ff is a disappointment. I knew it wasn't properly supported at ff, but I'd hoped for a little vignetting rather than mushiness.

I am curious, based upon what do you claim that the DA 55mm has "mushy corners" on full frame? Did you test it yourself? If so, I'd sure love to hear more details on your test.
