Image with a cracked lens

Has anyone taken an image with a lens that has small cracks in the glass. I'm curious as to how the image comes out and if it has a different look to it.

Wow, that article is something! I have also heard before that even quite a "large" scratch actually doesn't always affect the image as much as we would think, especially if you don't stop down.

Do you mean small scratch? my understanding of cracks is much more severe than scratch. If it is a small scratch, it does not affect the image quality at least IMHO and experience.
