Let Sleeping Cats Lie (my first M42)

K20D, Super-Tak 135mm f/2.5 at f/??? (don't remember -- prob. around 5.6-8), ISO 800, 1/30s, ambient light, JPG straight from the camera.

Let the LBA begin! Man, this thing is so much nicer and more fun than the slow-ish kit lens and the cheapo AF Tamron 70-300 I have. I think it could use a little bit more contrast, but other than that I'm very pleased.

My wife is gonna love this.

"Are you on eBay again?"

"Uh . . . [clicking on espn.com] . . . no, of course not!"

Hee hee ... have a look at the bottom row in my Signature. I need to add the 35mm that is on it's way now.
Zewrak ... you missed the Super Tak 85mm in that list ... one of better ones available.

Heh. Shopping list updated, thanks!

Make sure you PM me with your contact information so I can tell my wife who to call and yell at.

The 85/105/200 were already on my radar screen, but I'll take a look at those others too.

Well, I was aiming at the "beginner" lenses. The 85 is still a bit expensive for the young lad. He will eventually get it. But first lets get him hooked on the cheap ones . I saw a 55/1.8 go today for 18$.
