Used DA*60-250 $$$$

I am looking to purchase a used DA*60-250, what is a fair asking price for me to look for ?

You might look through the sold listings here in the marketplace as well as do a search on Ebay for sold listings. Another source would be to check listings at KEH. Use KEH as the high end and take an average of the ebay and marketplace listings. Used prices do vary and trend so I would not look back further than a few months.

Take a look at the sold listings on ebay. A wide range from $575 to $910 (which is now high because of Pentax's current lens sale)

I'm staying in the APSC world, so just picked one up here originally listed at $750. Given it's rumored vignetting on FF the price may come down over the next few months.

It really depends on what the price new is. Lately the new prices have been fluctuating alot. Normally this lens would go for around $1300 new so $900 used would nor be a bad price. Typically I try to use the 2/3rd rule. So a used on would be around $867 with a new price of $1300. Most people who own them now would not be willing to sell them for a used price based on the current price of $930. They will wait and see if the price goes back up. The 60-250 is a special lens that will get a higher resale than most other lenses since it is so highly praised and extremely well built. Right now new may be your best option. To me a hundred dollars less is not enough to justify used on such an expensive lens, but that is my opinion.

Paid $950 for mine from KEH. A little higher than most used but also warrantied, and buying from a known entity reduces risk of a bad copy.

If it's in great condition and has all original accessories -- caps, hood, case, tripod foot-- then that would be a great price (imho). But it depends on condition. Have you tried it out?

If I had the money that one would already be sold. I can assure you that one is in great condition. Seems like every time one like this comes up for sale I do not have the cash.
