What to do with lens with seperation?

I have a Pentax K 24mm 2.8 lens that suffers from separation. I spoke with a forum member about it and its really not worth the price of getting it cemented. Could this lens be used for anything useful aside from being a paperweight at this point?

Parts? I did have a separated lens repaired and it was not too expensive. But different lenses might require different amounts of work so not sure my experience is of value to you.

heat them up with a butane torch, separate, clean, use a drop of mineral oil to group them back together. its easy and can be redone easily if you mess up. ive done this on a few of my "parts" lenses.

ive only found gel based stripper around here that doesn't work. soaked one for days. butane torch worked in seconds
