I have DA 300 and 40mm and looking to complement my kit in between?

If you also get the 100 macro you'll have a nice four lenses for the weight of two...
100/2.8
140/4.0
300/4.0
420/5.6

If I could afford it my kit would be the 300, 100 and 1.4x with also a wide angle to normal zoom, 16-85 or 20-40
