I love the limited lenses. All shot with the my new DA 35 mm macro. Many thanks to the fine folks at Cameralensrental.com. I tried out the 43 vs. the 35 limited on a recent trip. It was nice to compare and feel each lens up close. Though I opted for the 35 mm, both were a joy to use.

Personally I would mind being too close to the critter with a macro lens . At 35mm, it is real close like 4 inches. But nobody can argue with the result.

Or you are happier with this shot?

These are definitely stunning images from the DA35!!

Congratulations on the new lens Alefone!!

These are great images. It's not only the camera and the lens (Trust me, I have got that lens and that camera - is it a K10d? - too) but a matter of good artist, too. Thanks for posting!

Oh yeah, on my camera the DA35 has some kind of glue, too. Only took it off to change my focusing screen - and to switch to the A*300/2.8 for birdying!

Owning a FA 35 made me stop thinking about this lens but it is becoming hard to resist, possibly better as a walkaround lens than my FA35 apart from its macro function... I need to think about it.

funny thing i dont see people comparing this lens to the FA35 2.0 much

how does it compare as far as raw sharpness and resolution goes?

I think Kelly (pIRATe) had a good comparison thread posted somewhere before. I think he found that the FA 35 f/2 was actually a little sharper at infinity.

he tested the FA31. photozone does say the FA35 is sharper than the FA31 wide open.

Got mine off ebay from ProDigital2000 for $379 shipped from canada, but i don't see it available thru them. The ebay listing you show looks good to me. I'd go for it.
