Info on the upcoming standard zoom?

I've seen lots of rumors, speculation, and wild spastic grasping at straws about the features of the upcoming K1 body.

What about what'll likely be the "kit" lens, the DFA standard zoom on the roadmap? Do we have any substantive rumors or info on what we're getting? I'm hoping for a 24-120 constant aperture lens with DC and WR that's comparable in IQ to the new 24-70 and 70-200...

What's the spin? What's the buzz? Any info out there?

Chances are there will be a 24-105/120 f4 zoom later on down the road.

Customer disappointment when release dates (announced or imagined) are missed? The 70-200 schedule problems might make Ricoh even more reluctant to show roadmaps.

Maybe, but if they dont give more TBR lenses, speculation about DOOM, gonna be more credible

Tamron has no lens in it's portfolio to rebadge as a standard zoomlens for this purpose.

Tamron did make K mount lenses a while back I'm talking older second hand lenses.
