A fungus problem....

I just scored a plain prism finder for my Bronica S2a.

But ... While the exterior cosmetics are excellent, there is apparent fungus and some dirt inside the finder. I am torn between returning it or, given the difficulty of finding the prism, keeping it. Would the sunshine treatment I've seen suggested for lenses be of help? How difficult is it to disassemble (and reassemble) the unit?

Fungus can etch glass. Until you clean I'm not sure how to know the condition.

Depending on where the fungus is, the silver coating may have been etched.
