Rainer, I feel dizzy .-) DA55 seems to do the bokeh well I think.

Here's an example of "long bokeh" (please post more long bokeh) and it should be bad but it is just so-so I think.

T2 mirror lens Hama Spiegel-Objektiv 'Made in Japan' 5.6/300 on K100D. Foreground unsharp-masked, background blurred in PP
What's that camera ?
Best, Georg (the other)

Is this bokeh "creamy" enough?

I'll post the lens later.
You did not say what lens was that?
Definitely creamy

I think all mirror lens comes with donut bokeh? But I generally see bigger donuts though
Seems sharp enough though

The Rockdoctor's bird is fantastic, what lens ?

Beautiful shot Daniel, and I think it could benefit from sharpening only the clown woman and leave the rest as is and/or
soften the background. I started to do this with the mirror lens, using the Gimps's magnetic scissors and switching inside
and outside. Otherwise I always ran into too much grain in the out-of-focus areas while (un)sharpening.

About the donuts, it really depends on the distance and the size of highlight areas. Here's another example from the same
mirror lens, all sorts of bokeh I think. Again inside sharpened outside softened.
