Ludoo, always astonished to see such 'bad' lenses perform so well.

knyghtfall, smashing colors and resolution and real good balance with the lights imo.

Here's another bad lens, a triplet Meyer Trioplan 2.8/100 on K100D.

the sigma 105mm is a performer for sure

an entirely different type of bokeh from the M 200mm F/4

m 200mm F4 can do it

The M 200mm F4 can produce very nice bokeh. This is not a "bokeh" shot, but I think the background is pretty smooth.

Kind regards

Shots taken just as the sun went down. Another reason to buy this lens! DA* 50-135 @ 135mm F2.8 ~1/25 sec 400iso, gotta love in body SR.

Thanks George. For your shot, I'm guessing its slightly stopped down, and the aperture of that lens is elliptical, which is why the backlight bokeh is such an interesting shape?

Have just gotten the voigtlander 20mm as well, here's one of my first shots from it:

The gentle backlight and the shapes and forms of the objects and shadows was what attracted me to this image. The Vt 20mm gave just the right FOV and minimum focusing distance for this shot - and a gentle creamy bokeh which is the hallmark of all Vt lenses.
