DA* 70-200mm images at Dpreview..

I just entered the Gallery that dpreview.com did for the K1 and noticed that one of the lenses that they tested with the K1 was the new 70-200 .. so.. Does this mean that is fully ready?? they just have 3 images with that lens.. most of the other ones were made with the 15-30mm

here is the link

"As an added bonus, and to our delight, we found the 70mm F2.4's image circle covers full-frame, so we snapped some samples with it as well."

It's FF (check the exif). Beauty! Looks like that's another FF lens I already have.

The DA 70 is an f/2.4 lens. The gallery has one shot at f/2.8, which appears to have significant vignetting, though it's hard to be sure with that shot. But it could be corrected in pp. So it may not be perfect wide open, but certainly useable.

I still think it would be highly valuable to have a more thorough test of DA lenses, with full sized images, to see which ones work, which do not, and the line in between.

That is interesting. Though, I suspect, the PF review will be more thorough with these DA lenses.

Yes. The English is compelling. They're certainly doing better than the first few entries.
