Look at the Arsat/Arax/Photex T/S lenses. they work well, and you will like the optical quality at a reasonable price. LAternatively get a Pentacon6 to Pentax K tilt adapter, then you either have your choice of tilt lens, or if you get a shift lens for Pentacon6, a tilt/shift
Since i mostly used tilt for focal plane control, i'd get a Flektogon for Pentacon6 on a tilt adapter this time around (Had a Arsat/Photex 80/2.8 for my 30D)

I've thought I was done buying glass a couple times. Being done hasn't lasted though...

The only lens left on my "must have" list is the Sigma 10-20. I've given some thought to getting the DA21, but then after a day at the zoo and aquarium just the other day, I'm wondering if I need some faster glass, particularly on the longer end. I've toyed with the idea of something like the 50-135 + TC for trips to the zoo or a DA200 or one of the 70-200s.

Besides money, the only thing stopping me from getting one of these is weight--if possible, I'd prefer to be able to handhold when it's not practical to use a mono or tripod. The 50-135 weighs 27oz. with the hood, the DA200 weighs 29.1 oz., the Tamron 70-200 weighs 40.5 oz., and the Sigma 70-200 weighs 48.3 oz. There's always the option of the 60-250 whenever it comes out. Based on what is actually available now, it looks as if the 50-135 would be the best option. If I pair it with a 1.5x TC, I would basically have a 303.75mm lens after including the camera's crop factor into the mix.

To answer the original question, at least for me, although it has slowed down, it hasn't quite gone away. Once I get the 10-20, my kit will basically be complete and anything else I get will just be icing on top of the cake.

Then there's the other stuff...a good p&s and a new body...

I thought I just overcame the urge to buy more lenses and yesterday I bought this beauty after two days of looking at the images here Helios 40 @ Foto.ru and thinking should I buy or should I not buy and I pulled the trigger.
