Any suggestion for a wide lens?

Hello!
I want to buy a wide lens for my film camera. From a little research, I found three lenses which can be ok:
- Pentax k 24mm
- Super Takumar 24mm
- Pentax A 24-50

I'm looking for sharpness mainly, but I think that stopped down the results are *quite* the same.
About the zoom, is just an option I've considered because the focal lenght is really great, but no real need for a zoom.
Of course, I'm open to other ideas!

Thank you very much!!

Here's a link to shots with a Pentax K - 24mm f2.8 done with my Pentax K5. As mentioned above, I've decided to sell this lens and replace it with a FA20mm f2.8. Oh, and I believe the reviews on the forum are accurate. Not the sharpest lens wide open, but the color rendition is pretty nifty..

Sigma and Tamron made 17-35mm full frame lenses that should work well. I have a Tokina 19-35 that I think is very sharp.

The Sigma Superwide II 24 2.8 has a lot of fans here. Same with the Tokina/Vivitar 17 3.5 (but that one is hard to find).

good choice if all you want to shoot centered objects... that k24 is really nice in the center, but it's weak on the sides, see the rez numbers, maybe the supertak is better? http://www.takinami.com/yoshihiko/photo/lens_test/pentax_superwide.html

vivitar 24/2.8, 37xxxxxx serial, 52mm filter size, if you can find it in k-mount, is much cheaper, and cleaner on the sides on 36mp: 24mm SLR prime lens test, fourth round, shot on the Sony a7R

there are many 24/2.8 vivitar lenses, watch out for stuck apertures.

I think the K 24 2.8 will be fine for film which is what the OP wants it for.

I found that the 24 was just not wide enough for my needs. My mother-in-law commanded an 8mm to get her thighs in the shot.

+ 1 on both of these lenses. I have a Super Wide II for K mount and it does a great job (albeit I have only used it for digital). I have a Vivitar 17 3.5 in OM mount that I used a lot in my film days and I love that lens.
