Prime lens means a single focal length, just common usage I do not think it is anything official. Prime as opposed to a zoom which has the ability to use multiple focal lengths. Prime = 50mm. Zoom = 50-135mm

Art lens is just a marketing term Sigma is using for some of it's lenses. Means nothing at all.

A 'prime lens' is one with a single focal length - for example, 31mm, 50mm, or 28mm.

The term 'artist lens' is not too common, but probably means that the lens may not be 'technically' excellent in measurable terms - e.g., resolution, but produces very favourable images of artistic merit.

Prime lens are lens whose focal length is fixed. For example: the Pentax DA 50mm f1.8.
Artist lens? I don't know this terminology but I assume that the refer to few specific lens used to creative works like Lensbaby, Fisheye lens (etc.).

Prime has been described already.

Artist is just marketing puff.
