Is the lens hood removable on the HD DA 70mm 2.4 Limited?
I thought it is. If it is mine is STUCK!

It should screw in/out

Yes it is. However the tolerances on the threads are very tight. The more you squeeze the tighter it gets. I found that pushing against the front (not the sides) and turning will work every time. Use a rubber lid opening pad if you have one or anything else rubber, bottom of a mouse pad even. Place on the front then with your palm gently rotate the lens hood avoiding any pressures on the sides which will warp the thin metal locking it up.

My SMC DA 70 Limited used to be like that. To unscrew the hood I found I needed to wrap my hand around the entire hood to unscrew it. If you hold it in two spots like holding it with thumb and forefinger, it binds and seems impossible to unscrew. After a year the issue went away and after multiple times removing the hood, the hood now screws on and off without binding.
