This is the trade off with FF cameras and quality glass. Ricoh appears to have done an excellent job in keeping the K1's form factor as compact as is reasonably possible, but there is of course some additional weight and bulk - and quality full frame glass is going to be bigger and heavier too. It's one reason why the K3/K3II and future APS-C models will continue to appeal to many...
I have a Sony A99-based Hasselblad HV with Sony Zeiss 24-70, and it's probably not much different in size and weight to the K1 plus 24-70 (if anything, I'd guess my setup is a little heavier). I certainly wouldn't say it's a studio-only camera. I wouldn't want to carry it around all day without a break or two, but with a decent strap or sling, it's OK for a few hours' shooting...
EDIT: While I prefer my BlackRapid Curve RS-7 sling for my K3 + grip + lens, I've found I'm happier with an OP/TECH Pro strap on the Hasselblad - worn over the shoulder until I'm ready to shoot, then worn around the neck for shooting. The wide foam band on the OP/TECH Pro is very comfortable with a heavier camera...
