35mm for K-1 ?

I plan to buy a K-1, but I look for a standard 35mm prime lens (+ or - 50mm APS-C) because it's my favorite focal length for everyday. I made a choice based on several factors (k-mount, not too big & limited size, test results etc ...) and I get to some solutions. I like lenses with personality, a bit special colorimetry... good sharpness, 3d effect must remain acceptables but I like the lens with silky character, cool personnality.. This should be versatile : landscape, portrait , urban or nature, B&W ... manual focus does not bother me..
Just want your advices please....

1) summicron-R 50mm (with leitax adapter for k-mount)... not a razor sharp but I love the atmosphere that can come from, this lens IMO is very special and it's unusual...
2) voigtlander nokton 58mm : very rare in Europe, I have little hope to find one in the months and years ahead... same for the Zeiss 50mm F2 (the F1.4 looks pretty mediocre)
3) ?
4) ?
...

... maybe m42 lenses, with the K-1 ? I'm afraid there is some vignetting... and it's a little annoying to change mount every time ...
thank you

I'm confused. You say you want a 35mm lens then show examples of 50mm and 58mm lenses. Do you want 50 or 35?

OK...just for clarification...You are looking for K-mount/M42 "normal" lenses for the 24x36mm FF format and not 35mm focal length, right?

1) FA 43/1.9 Limited
2) Helios 44-3 58/2 (preferably a MC version)*

Steve

* May require sanding down the rear surface of the focus ring to clear the mount on non-Zenit bodies.

Vignette on M42 lenses should be no more of an issue than with K-mount glass at the same focal length.

BTW...you may want to note that the Zeiss ZK 50/2 Makro-Planar T* is a very different lens than the Zeiss ZM 50/2 Planar T*. Image search results will show results from both lenses.

No no no! If you like 50mm lenses on your K-5 and want the same FoV on the K-1 you'll need a 75mm lens. It's a crop factor of 1.5. A 35mm lens on the K-1 would look like a 24mm on a K-5.

If you want the same field of view as a 50mm lens on your K5IIs you'll want to look for something int he region on 75mm to 80mm (written on the lens!), no 35mm.

As noted above, I think you have this backwards. You need the FA 77mm Limited.

In that case even the DA 50 f/1.8 would be perfect for you.

K-5IIs 35mm = 35mm on the K-1
K-1 50mm = 50mm on the K-5IIs

Focal length stays the same regardless of the camera behind the lens. What changes between the two cameras is field of view (FOV) at a particular focal length with the K-5IIs have a narrower FOV. The image on the K-5IIs is literally a 2/3 crop of what might be captured with the K-1. If you enjoy the 35mm FOV on your K-5IIs, a 50mm lens is about the same on the K-1. If you enjoy the 50mm FOV on your K-5IIs, 75mm is about the same on the K-1.

So you want a FoV from a lens 42mm-57mm on FF?

FA 43/1.9 Limited?
